Manage your test executions in Lynqa

Manage your test executions in Lynqa

Lynqa allows you to monitor and manage test executions in real time. You can explore different levels to see detailed execution information, from test execution sessions to individual executions and their screenshots.

Navigate test executions

Lynqa provides a hierarchical view of test executions that lets you explore multiple levels:

  1. Test execution sessions - View all your test execution sessions

  2. Details of a test execution session - View all individual tests within a specific session

  3. Test execution details - Real-time review of the execution of test steps for a particular test

At each level, you can see the current execution status for a quick overview of the state.

Execution statuses

At all navigation levels, you will see execution statuses that indicate the current state of your tests and sessions:

Execution statuses

Description

Execution statuses

Description

SUCCESS

A SUCCESS status indicates that the test or session completed successfully without any failures.

FAILED

A FAILED status indicates that the test or session encountered failed steps during execution.

ERROR

An ERROR status indicates that the execution encountered an error that prevented it from completing.

RUNNING

A RUNNING status means the test or session is currently in progress.

STOPPED

A STOPPED status indicates that the execution was manually stopped before completion.

WAITING

A WAITING status indicates that the execution is pending.

Unavailable

An “Unavailable” state indicates that the execution session is not available.

Possible reasons:

  • Lynqa configuration not allowing the session to be viewed (Lynqa API key does not match the session)

  • Lynqa service unavailability

Expired

An "Expired" state indicates that the execution session has expired. Sessions automatically expire after 30 days.
